Course Details
The 3 day assessment examines candidates skills and knowledge as a Hill and Moorland Leader in line with the national standard.
Assessment is largely practical with skills and knowledge demontrated in the hill and moorland environment. Assessment is conducted by practical tasks, scenarios and questions throughout the 3 days, including a night navigation phase. You will also be required to complete a short online questionnaire as part of the assessment process.
To book this course you must have:
- Completed a Hill and Moorland Leader Training course, or been granted Exemption.
- Hold a valid 16hr Outdoor (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate.
- Have recorded a minimum of 40 Quality Hill Days on DLOG, at least 14 days prior to your assessment date.
