<p>The full day will give you a chance to get hands on and confident with basic navigation skills.  The focus will be on developing good habits that will set you up for success, no fancy tricks and complicated techniques.  Using a variety of lowland and moorland terrain, you will also get loads of hands on practice, guided by one of our experts instructors.<br><br>Contrary to popular belief, it’s your situational awareness that leads to good navigation rather than map reading ability.  During the day we will help you to develop both of these skills along with a clear understanding of the relationship between them.  Creating habits to last a lifetime.</p>
<p>We provide all the specialist equipment, so you will just need to bring along some basic hillwalking kit.  Full details are provided in our portal which you can access on booking.</p>
