<p>This one day course is for experienced lead climbers who  want the knowledge and skills to access sea cliff routes.</p>
<p>The day will use one of a number of locations around the South West to learn and practice the skills which opens up a whole new world of climbing opportunity.</p>
<p>During the day you will learn and practice:</p>
<ul>
<li>Planning including; tides and swell effects</li>
<li>Good route selection</li>
<li>Techniques for access and retreat; getting down and up!</li>
<li>Making good judgements and decisions for your party</li>
<li>Emergencies - what to do when it doesn’t go to plan</li>
</ul>
<p>The day will be practical and hands on with plenty of chances to practice the skills taught.  You will need to be experienced in managing yourself around the top of crags, building trad belays and basic self-protected abseiling techniques (if you are unsure about your experience levels, just Contact Us for a chat).  Ratios are kept deliberately small to maximise the input and guidance from your instructor.</p>
