<p>Our Rock Climbing Essentials course is your key to getting started with rock climbing.  You will learn the essential skills to get you started in this engaging and exciting sport.</p>
<p>After meeting your instructor and a short walk to the crag (that’s what we call a cliff!), you will learn about the kit you will be using and how to fit it safely.  Then you will have a chance to learn and practice keeping your and your partner, efficient movement on rock and the climbing environment.  Through the day there will be the chance to try a range of climbs to suit your ability any progression.  You may also want to try your hand at abseiling; using a rope to descend a cliff under control.</p>
